  1. Hi again Amethyst,

Well done on another great post today! I am having an awesome holiday so far, I have been to the beach a bunch of times and am heading to the movies tonight. How are your holidays? What have you been doing?

Ka pai on putting together a list of things you learned about from exploring the webpage on this weeks activity. I really like how the facts you have chosen highlight just how very real climate change is and what is happening to our dear planet. Do you know any people who have made a difference to our environment or have been speaking up about these issues?

This activity also asks you to share a photograph of something you are doing around home to help the environment. An example of this could be a picture of your family growing your own produce or even using multi-use shopping bags. Share with us a photo of what you and/or your family are doing to help the environment.

    Kueni :)

  2. Namaste Amethyst, how is your day going so far? I hope you’re enjoying the sunshine!

My name is Eliza and I’m working as a blog commenter on the Summer Learning Journey this summer. Have you done the Summer Learning Journey before? I’m looking forward to reading your posts and the other bloggers' posts from the Ako Hiko cluster, over the next week! If you want to know more about me, you can check out my blog.

I enjoyed reading what you’d learnt from the School Strike for Climate Australia website! Were there any facts that were new information to you, or did you know most of it already? Did you attend the Climate Strike Protest in Auckland last year? If you didn’t, you might be interested in reading about it here:

I’ve noticed that you haven’t been active in a while, and we really enjoyed reading your posts when you were active. I thought I would just jump on your blog and give you a gentle reminder that the Summer Learning Journey finishes next Friday (24th January) so you have until then to do as many activities as you can. Remember that the more activities you do, the more points you gain and the higher the chance of you winning some really cool prizes!

I would also encourage you to go and have a look at all the comments we have made on your posts to see if anything needs to be edited in order for you to get the full points available.

Happy blogging, I look forward to reading more of your posts :)
    Eliza.
